SCNS has an extensive background in environmental planning and has been specializing in air quality, greenhouse gas and noise since 2007. We have extensive experience conducting air quality and greenhouse technical reports as well as long and short-term noise monitoring and analysis using Quest and Larson Davis sound level meters, as well as air and noise modeling software including CalEEMod, AERMOD, Cal3QHC, SoundPLAN, CadnaA, TNM, and RCNM. PG&E Compressor Station (EIR): Conducted noise impact analysis for a compressor station clean up project located in eastern San Bernardino County as part of a site clean-up effort.

County of Maui Subdivision (EIS). Conducted noise monitoring and impact analysis for the County of Maui, including long-term 24-hour measurements, and noise impact assessment a subdivision project located in Maui, Hawaii.
Caltrans Improvement (PEAR). Prepared a preliminary noise analysis with monitoring for US-101 improvements in Los Angeles, CA.
LAUSD Demolition Project (IS/MND): Conducted the noise monitoring and impact analysis for the Los Angeles Unified School District.
High School Modernization Projects (EIR): Conducted several air quality, greenhouse gas, and noise impact analyses for school modernization projects for the Los Angeles Unified School District
College of Marin Campus Improvements: For the College of Marin, analyzed noise impacts associated with building new campus facilities including classrooms, agricultural studies facilities, athletic facilities, and amphitheater.
City College of San Francisco: For CCSF, analyzed noise impacts associated with a new on-site chilled water plant and utility lines.
UC Merced (EIR): For the UCM, analyzed noise impacts associated with the construction of campus development associated with implementation of their long range plan.
Cal State East Bay (IS/MND): For Cal State East Bay, analyzed noise impacts associated with building a new library in Hayward, CA.
Salinas Housing Development (EA): Prepared the noise impact assessment associated with a senior housing development for the City of Salinas.
City of Moorpark Subdivision (EIR): Conducted the air quality, greenhouse gas, and noise impact analysis associated with a large scale housing subdivision development for the City of Moorpark.
City of Los Angeles Mixed-Use (EIR): For the City of Los Angeles, analyzed noise impacts associated with a mixed-use facility with a supermarket.
City of Cerritos Noise Impact Report: For the City of Cerritos, conducted noise monitoring, including 24-hour measurement, and prepared the noise analysis for a multi-family residential project adjacent to a major freeway in Cerritos.
City of Los Angeles (Silver Lake) Noise Impact Report: For the City of Los Angeles, conducted the noise monitoring and impact analysis for a multi-site mixed-use development in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles.
